Blocked Drains Auckland covers the wider Auckland region as a mobile service — there is no depot to visit, the van comes to the property. We work across the North Shore, West Auckland, Central Auckland, East Auckland and South Auckland, from Silverdale in the north to Pukekohe in the south. Emergency callout operates 24 hours, 7 days across the whole area.
From the older bays through to Albany's newer subdivisions. Mature street trees and a lot of 1950s–70s housing means jointed earthenware and concrete laterals are still common, particularly in Takapuna and Devonport.
Heavy clay soils, established plantings and a mix of post-war housing and newer infill. Ground movement and root intrusion are the two faults we see most often out west.
Auckland's oldest drainage stock. Villas and bungalows across Ponsonby, Grey Lynn, Mt Eden, Epsom and Remuera were drained with short jointed earthenware runs, and the joints are where roots get in.
A broad mix — the bays have older housing and significant tree cover, while Botany and Flat Bush are largely modern uPVC where blockages tend to be about what went down the drain.
